The Clarity of Purpose / Finish Your Meal!

"The Clarity of Purpose", another song taken from my recent release "Loose Ends", is a collaboration between Finish Your Meal! (aka Nicolas Saez, formerly of Anorak and Starving but Happy) and yours truly.

FYM's debut album, which I mixed, is available now.

Loose Ends is still available from Sound In Silence.

"Loose Ends" out May 24th on Sound In Silence

I am happy to report that on May 24th a new release of mine called Loose Ends will come out on Greek label Sound In Silence (Silencio's Floods was also released on that label back in 2012) in an edition of 200 CDr's.

More than a debut album proper, these eleven tracks constitute a compilation of music composed and recorded in the last ten years. This is music I worked on when I wanted a breather from Silencio, a more upbeat / poppier vibe, or when I wanted to collaborate with a particular friend outside of the context of a full album.

The cover art by Julie Calbert is above; listen to L'Art du Contentement, taken from Loose Ends below:

Selenian Remix / 2015

So here's a remix I made for Selenian last Summer but hadn't shared yet. Hope you'll like it.

No year end review this time, all I can tell you is that the song I liked the most in 2014 was probably "You Are My Sunshine" by Mtume. Also, I spent a faire share of 2014 helping out Nicolas Saez aka Finishyourmeal! mixing his new album (Starving But Happy anyone?)

Anyway, more remixes to come at some point, and eventually I will be able to put out "Loose Ends", a collection of tracks recorded in the last 10 years, with a clear focus on rhythm and melody compared to my other, previous releases. This should come out on Sound In Silence in the coming months.

I'll post my Winter Mix as soon as I get to actually making it, and I wish you to manage to stay alive and somewhat content in 2015.
